Atkins Nutritionals, ZonePerfect Sign License Agreements With eDiets

eDiets.com, Inc., Deerfield Beach, FL, has acquired exclusive licenses to develop and market personalized diets compliant with the Atkins and Zone concepts. Founded on the belief that a private, simple, fast “Your Diet, Your Way”™ online approach was better than driving to the local diet center, eDiets.com has used the Internet to create personalized online plans. Using its personalization platform and in-house dieticians and medical advisors, eDiets has also created vegetarian, healthy heart and type 2 diabetes plans to fit consumer needs. These diets were introduced in January 2003 and other popular branded and specialized plans will be added on an ongoing basis.
